Situated just off the main Plymouth to Yealmpton road. the pub is just 2 miles from Yealmpton, 5 miles from edge of Plymouth, 3 miles from Plympton and 2.5 miles from Plymstock.
From Plymouth take the A379 to Yealmpton via Plymstock. Then right onto the link road, adjacent to the Kitley House Hotel. Over the bridge up to the T-juncton (Collaton Cross) B3186 and turn right at the junction (brown sign for The Dolphin Inn). Follow the road all the way down into the village of Newton Ferrers then turn left onto the Harbour Road then to Newton Hill (just before the co-op). We are at the foot of the hill on the left - Riverside Road East.
